I LOVE MY JOB!

My first published photograph appeared in Sega newspaper in 1998, when I was sixteen.
In the following years, I worked as a staff photojournalist for some of Bulgaria’s most influential media and had publications in international outlets such as Associated Press, AMICA, MAX, MAXIM, and the Bulgarian edition of National Geographic.

Gradually, photography led me beyond journalism — into directing videos and creating broader visual narratives.
In recent years, I’ve focused on commercial, corporate and social projects, producing content for digital platforms and social media.
I combine my journalistic intuition with my background in digital arts to deliver complete visual solutions in the fields of PR, marketing and advertising.

In 2008, I published the photo book “Traditions” — a luxury bilingual edition featuring over 150 photographs of Bulgarian folklore rituals, captured in their authentic environment.
The accompanying exhibition has been presented in more than 40 cities across Europe, Asia, America and Africa as part of the cultural programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

My awards include “Photojournalist of the Year” (2006) from the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, and First Prize in Political Reportage at the national Panorama competition (2001).
I have held three solo exhibitions (two of them international) and participated in numerous contemporary art festivals and group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.

I believe that visual content does more than simply show — it creates emotion, leaves a mark, and inspires.
That is my goal as a photographer and visual storyteller.
